Adding this to RA2.ini stopped the game from even launching.
Set "SingleProcAffinity" to 1 in "aqrit.cfg".I have also tried running in "Compatibility Mode" for Windows XP Service Pack 3, as suggested in another post.Tried to fix it with Bibber's alternate start and downloading CnC.net but cannot get the actual game to work. The screen goes black on starting up but the audio is coming through fine. The fix for Yuri's Revenge when the above didn't work and ran the game in "Compatibility mode" (for Windows 7), along with "Reduced Color Mode" and all other settings as shown in the post. 1:06PM Purchased the C&C Ultimate Collection on Origin (mainly for RA2/YR) and noticed that Red Alert 2 does not start correctly.Made sure "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" was set to 1 in "aqrit.cfg".Putting " ts-ddraw" or " DDrawCompat" or " ddwrapper" into my Red Alert 2 directory.I followed the guide on under "I have the Origin version from The Ultimate Collection" as well as the "Handling Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge on Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10".Downloading and installing the CnCNet YR client.I've been having this issue for years now. I can't complete any missions because the game either freezes or crashes midway. I've tried an entire list of "fixes" so far and nothing has solved the issue for me.
